2021 Reserve Rhone Red Blend "The Color of Iris"
This classic Rhone blend offers a harmonious balance of lifted, expressive garrigue and mixed berries. Aromatic notes of cranberry, red plum, and green olive are intertwined with hints of ginger, white pepper, and dried herbs. The palate is intense and juicy, featuring flavors of blackberry, roasted meat, and olive tapenade. A fresh, textured structure lifts and energizes while the persistent finish delights with its broadness and juiciness, leaving a lingering impression of pastoral beauty.
Aged for 17 months in 25% new puncheons (100% French Oak) and 75% once and twice-filled puncheons.
